Some water-losses require us to move a ton of content. For this job, the carpet needed to come out. To reach the carpet and padding, we had a few hours of content manipulation. Once all the carpet was removed, we set up air movers. We also sprayed a plant-based anti-microbial. This product is simply a combination of plant chemicals that prevent the growth of mold after a water loss. We always spray this for any water-loss job just as a preventative measure. The air-movers we placed are to dry whatever moisture was left on the subfloor and sheetrock. This drying process was reasonably straightforward.
