When Your Water Heater Ruptures

How can you turn a bad experience into a good Experience? No time is a good time, especially for a water leak. Quick action is needed to prevent major damage. We understand, your home, time and day-to-day schedule is as important to us as it is to you. We try to help you cope with the aftermath. Leaking water can seep into all your flooring, baseboards and walls while moving throughout your property, potentially creating mildew and staining.
What You Can Do:
-Before doing any maintenance on your water heater, shut off the power at the service panel.
- Once every two years, have water heater serviced.
- Once every three months, drain a gallon of water from your tank. This can reduce sediment collecting in the bottom of the tank.
- Once every five years, have a service technician replace the anode rod.
